Foodies 10 Rules for Healthy Food

  1. Food i buy should have no more than 3 ingredients.
  2. I should know what the ingredients are and why they are there.
  3. I should be able to pronounce the ingredients.
  4. Pasturized is suspect, ultra-pasturized is a red flag.
  5. From Concentrate is a red flag.
  6. Natural Flavors is a red flag.
  7. HFCS / High fructose corn syrup is a red flag.
  8. The sources and feed for chicken/pork/beef must be known.
  9. Ground meat in a package is never acceptable. meat should be ground fresh.
  10. i’ll think of something else.
