There is a wonderful little area in the central village just south of Washington Square Park, almost embedded with New York University that I have always called eNwhyYouzVille. I don’t think anyone else calls it that, but it’s full of young people (and really old people who live in the few remaining rent controlled apartments) and is full of creative new, everchanging and old never changing world famous clubs, little food shops, cafe’s, bars. Every ethnicity you can think of.
