The Pandemic Pantry
I had to go into The City on saturday to pick up mail, food, drugs….. It was a beautiful day.
Acting President, Governor Andrew Cuomo made a quip this week about The City. He said there are a lot of cities in New York State, but when in the tri-state region The City can only be one place. Indeed, all over New York State, which you have to cross three state lines to get from one end to the other, there is little question about the difference between the city and The City.
The City has changed a lot. People are so used to there not being traffic that they just walk down the middle of the avenues and are actually surprised to see a car there. It’s kind of like a neutron bomb went off. The buildings are all standing
BJ’s Parking Lot – on the way to the city.
That’s the line wrapping twice around the parking lot.
